Our history
The D.R.Hilliard Angel Foundation was created to keep the legacy of our son Darryl Rene Hilliard Jr. who passed away on June 13th, 2004. Darryl was struck down by gun violence at the tender age of 21. He was a HERO to his daughters, Saniyah and Darryah. Darryl was a caregiver who worked within the community of Fresno and touched the lives of many, including family and friends. Even in his passing he donated his organs to save the lives of others.
To honor Darryl, the Foundation is dedicated to providing mentors to the youth in hopes of guiding them towards successful careers and supporting their educational needs.
